PRO Grant Speaker Webcast for Parents
ON WEDNESDAY, APRIL 18 AT 7 PM, St Mark the Evangelist School Council with assistance from the Ontario Ministry of Education PRO Grant, is hosting Monika Jankowska-Pacyna in an on-line presentation you can view from home. Monika is a technology consultant, and is involved in exploring, testing and integrating digital tools and resources in adult literacy and skills training, with a special interest in emerging technologies.
Learn about and explore your own digital footprint, see how your use of websites and social media contribute to leaving digital footprints and explore what to do and what not to do to manage your online presence. Various examples, tips and resources will be shared and measures you can take to manage your online identity will be discussed.
If social media and your digital footprint is foreign to you, this is the perfect way to begin to understand what websites know about you and your children.
